ATTENTION PEOPLE COMING TO MY PAGE TO THANK ME

Sat Apr 11, 2009, 12:29 PM
  • Mood: Neutral
  • Listening to: NO MORE THANK-YOU SPAM! NO MORE!

NO MORE THANK-YOU SPAM! NO MORE!

Don't. You. F***ing. Dare.

I am getting very irritated by this. It is spam. I am not +faving your work because I am interested in hearing you thank me for it. I am +faving your work because I like it. When you thank me for doing so, you are sending me a message which is, often word for word, the same as thousands of other messages. Do you even bother to change what you say when you thank somebody for +faving your work?

Thank you for +faving [link] Mr Bob.
Thank you for +faving [link] Mr George.
Thank you for +faving [link] Ms Sam.

It. Is. SPAM.

Stop it.

NOW.

I don't care if you do it to other people. That's their problem, and if they don't like it, then they can say so. But I'm sick of it. There's no point to it, and it pushes RELEVANT messages further and further into the back.

Again. NO MORE THANK-YOU SPAM. If you do it, I'm removing every last pic you made from my Favorites Gallery.

EDIT

Assuming that anybody actually comes round here, the first fifteen people to comment here will have their galleries searched by me, and their three best works posted here. And then they'll have to do the same.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PEOPLE WANTING TO THANK ME FOR +FAVing THEM::::

Please don't add a comment to this page thanking me for +faving something of yours. Reading the latest variant of "Thank you" is, erm, not all that fun, especially since I get something like a dozen or two every day.

I REPEAT: DON'T COMMENT HERE UNLESS: You are NOT thanking me for something.

I appreciate that you're thanking me, but... You really don't need to.

Always,
robert mason

Pshaw. You say that like I'm some god looking down from the heavens above and choosing who gets into my snooty club and who doesn't. xD

But yeah, it's weird. I'll watch folks, come back to their page later, and for some reason it shows that I never added them. It's not very common, but it's happened a couple times before.
